Patrick Van Sprang graduated as Master of Science in Engineering (Environmental Technology) at Ghent University where he subsequently was appointed as responsible for the research group ‘aquatic ecotoxicology and risk assessment’ at the Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology.

He is the co-founder of ARCHE Consulting, an university spin-off consultancy company specialized in environmental/human health risk assessment in different EU regulatory frameworks such as REACH, CLP, PPP and BPR. In 2016, Patrick co-founded ARCHE Consortia in order to deliver complete consortium management services (in particular for biocides) to its clients.
